Supporting the “People Living with HIV Stigma Index”: Measuring the Experiences of People Living with HIV with Stigma and Discrimination

HIV and AIDS Research Corner, 29 June 2018—Alison Cheng, branch chief for biomedical prevention, and Ugochukwu “Ugo” Amanyeiwe, Senior Technical Advisor for Community Care, Treatment and Prevention with people living with HIV/AIDS within the U.S. Agency for International Development’s (USAID’s) Office of HIV/AIDS, talk about Project SOAR’s collaboration with the Global Network of People Living with HIV and the International Community of Women Living with HIV and UNAIDS to revise the People Living with HIV Stigma Index, a tool used by people living with HIV to measure the stigma and discrimination they experience.
